Over the past few months, there’s been some speculation about the future of our legacy on-premise brands compared to our cloud-native acre Access Control (aAC) platform. This is simply not true. Rest assured, we are fully committed to developing and supporting these platforms. This is backed by significant investments, including a 20% expansion of our engineering team, and ongoing development efforts to enhance their functionality and usability.

At acre security, we believe that trust and innovation go hand in hand. With the release of Omnis 7.4, we’re reinforcing our commitment to providing cutting-edge, reliable on-premise access control and remain invested for years to come.

What is Omnis?

Omnis is an on-premises integrated security system that combines native intrusion, access control, and fire detection capabilities, along with support for various integrations.

Founded in the 1990s, it was the first system of its kind in the Nordic region, with very few exceptions elsewhere in Europe. Omnis also features smart power supply units (PSUs), ensuring reliable and efficient performance.

New in Omnis 7.4

The latest iteration of Omnis—version 7.4—builds on our core intrusion and access control framework to provide exceptional performance, efficiency, and advanced security features. This release showcases substantial improvements across several functions designed to streamline workflows and enhance user satisfaction.

Both software and firmware can be downloaded from our webshop under the Software-tab for both the E100, E100-S, E200 as well as the various Omnis Software alternatives.

Available now on acre's product catalogue, Omnis 7.4 is ideal for users looking to strengthen their security systems while improving operational performance.
