The client, a respected military agency based in Asia, is responsible for safeguarding national security and maintaining peace and stability in the region. With a workforce of thousands of dedicated personnel, the agency operates from an army camp consisting of 10 blocks and 1 guardhouse. The challenge

The client faced multiple challenges in implementing an effective security solution for their army camp. The most significant obstacle was that they were installing SPC (Security Products Company) for the first time. This meant that their personnel had limited knowledge and experience with the system, resulting in a steep learning curve and potential delays in installation and integration.

Moreover, the agency required a hybrid network topology - a combination of Star and Ring networks - to ensure reliable communication among different blocks and the guardhouse. This complex setup required specialized expertise and careful planning to avoid any disruptions or security breaches.

The client also faced strong competition in the market, with various vendors offering similar security solutions. This meant that they needed to carefully choose a provider that could meet all their requirements and provide the best value for their investment.

Lastly, the agency had specific customization needs, such as a custom graphical user interface (GUI), to ensure seamless operation and efficient monitoring of the security system. This added an extra layer of complexity to the project, requiring advanced technical expertise and resources.

The solution

To overcome these challenges, acre security implemented a strategic approach that entailed obtaining approval and references from the Military agency, engaging in design collaborations with the dealer presales team, conducting comprehensive SPC demos and tests with technical support from acre for the dealer's tech team, and forming partnerships with a third party to develop a custom GUI.

This approach unfolded over a span of 10 months and involved various activities such as product presentations, design meetings, product demos and testing support, as well as budgetary pricing and negotiations.

A crucial decision made during this period was to provide the acre security SPC hardware for testing purposes and offer ongoing technical support for SPC.
